Comparison
Privyr vs Zurently
Two SEA property-agent tools that solve different halves of the same job. Here’s which tool does what, where they overlap, and why most serious agents end up using both.
The short version
If you only read one thing on this page.
Privyr is the best SEA tool for capturing leads and closing deals. Zurently doesn’t compete there.
Zurently is the only SEA tool for the 12–24 months after the lease signs — renewal evidence, handover packs, tenancy timeline.
Most agents serious about renewal commissions use both. They’re complementary, not competing.
What Privyr does brilliantly.
Privyr is the tool SEA property agents reach for when a lead lands in the inbox. It pulls inbound enquiries from property portals straight into a WhatsApp-first workflow, then personalises the first reply at scale so agents hit the under-five-minute response window that decides most conversions.
It is mobile-first because agents work from their phones, and the UX has been refined across six-plus years of SEA-specific product iteration with more than three hundred thousand users. The automated follow-up cadence keeps stale leads warm without the agent having to remember. The Singapore CEA directory is wired directly into the app so compliance checks happen inline instead of in a separate browser tab.
The pre-deal workflow — from first enquiry to signed tenancy agreement — is covered end-to-end. No other tool in the region does this as well.
Where Zurently fits in.
Zurently starts the moment Privyr ends. The lease is signed, the commission is booked, and the tenancy enters a 12–24 month stretch where the agent either stays visible to the landlord or quietly disappears. Zurently is the tool that keeps the agent present — event logging with photo evidence, a chronological tenancy timeline, a handover pack that exports to PDF on demand.
Every rent payment, every repair, every inspection is logged with a timestamp and a photo. When renewal time arrives the agent does not negotiate their commission from memory; they send the landlord a PDF that proves what they did. The landlord-facing portal is white-label, so the relationship stays with the agent, not with Zurently.
SEA-specific compliance runs underneath: Singapore IRAS and CEA and SCT, Taiwan 租賃住宅, Hong Kong EAA, Malaysia BOVAEP. Think of Zurently as the second half of the tool belt Privyr gives you.
Feature by feature
Where each tool wins.
The columns are vertical on purpose. Each tool dominates its own half of the job; the overlap is deliberately thin.

Step two
On the day the tenancy signs, you log the tenancy in Zurently in under two minutes.
Step three

Questions
Common questions about using both.
Do I have to cancel Privyr to use Zurently?
No. They do different jobs. Privyr handles everything before the lease signs — leads, follow-ups, closings. Zurently handles everything after — tenancy events, evidence, renewal defense. Most of our early agents run both subscriptions and treat them as separate line items.
How much would running both cost?
Privyr's Pro plan is around S$40/month per agent at current public pricing. Zurently's Solo Agent plan is S$49/month. Total around S$89/month to cover your full pipeline from first lead to final renewal. For an agent earning even one renewal commission annually, the combined subscription pays back in the first quarter.
Which one should I start with if I only pick one?
If you're actively prospecting and closing new deals every month, Privyr first. If you're sitting on a book of 10+ existing tenancies and watching renewal commissions get contested, Zurently first. Most agents layer the second tool within 3–6 months of the first.
Does Zurently import data from Privyr automatically?
Not at launch. Manual copy of tenancy details from Privyr to Zurently takes about two minutes per tenancy. API integration with Privyr is on the Phase 2 roadmap if validation demand justifies it.
Is Zurently trying to become a Privyr competitor?
No. Privyr's lead-capture and pre-deal workflow is a 6-year-deep product with 300K users. Zurently wouldn't build there even if we wanted to. The post-deal 12–24 months is where no one builds for SEA, and that's the only gap we're filling.
Ready to close the post-deal gap?
If you’re signing tenancies and watching your renewal commissions evaporate because landlords don’t remember what you did for them — that’s the gap Zurently fills. Book a 15-minute demo and see how the tenancy timeline holds up in a real renewal conversation.
